Our Mission
Latinx En Athletics (LEA) is dedicated to advancing the careers of Latino and Latina professionals in sports. We aim to create a strong community that uplifts individuals through mentorship and professional growth.
Our Founders
Latinx En Athletics (LEA) was founded by Liz Reyes (right) and Patty Medina (left), two trailblazing Latina leaders in college athletics. With a shared passion for mentorship, career development, and increasing Latinx representation in sports, they created LEA to empower and connect Latino and Latina coaches, administrators, and professionals. Their mission is to foster a supportive community that uplifts Latinx leaders and paves the way for future generations in athletics.
